And, my most noble friends, I pray you all,
Speak plainly your opinions of our hopes:
And first, what say you to it?"

It's over, I can't believe it actually happened. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, to one and all for making such an effort; especially to Jonathan, Nick J and Andy who travelled so far to be there, and to every one else who came from all over the country - I am truly humbled and grateful to everyone. Photos are there for your amusement, as is the speech I attempted to deliver...
If anyone would like a high res copy of any of the pictures(about 3Mb), just drop me a line.
As to the cost (sorry), I'll let everyone know when the bill has come in from the HQS Wellington.

See you all in 2029, but definitely before as well :-)

June 7th 2004
Final details sorted: menu finalised, wines chosen, just looking forward to the day now.
See you all there :-)

Letter out to all:
Apologies for the "dear all" letter, but it's only a couple of months or so to go now, so I will need to finalise the details with the venue, prepare the menu, and do all that sort of thing !
Please can you confirm (hopefully in the positive) that you are all still coming, and I would like to ask a favour. Please can you send me a short paragraph summarising where you are and how you have arrived there. Also, if you happen to have a photo of yourself from 70's that is better than the team photo (not difficult I think) that I have, please email that as well.

October 18th 2003
Date confirmed (again and finally this time) to be Thursday 10th June 2004
Invitations sent out, main deposit paid.
New versions of menus supplied.

July 30th 2003
Date confirmed, it is Thursday, June 3rd, 2004.
Venue confirmed. The Committee Room, HQS Wellington.
Details at Honourable Company of Master Mariners Website
Looking forward to seeing one and all next year !

July 1st 2003
Looks like Thursday, June 3rd, 2004 is the most likely date. I have put a provisional hold on the HQS Wellington as the venue.
There are two (you know who you are :-) ) still to reply to my last email, but I will try to confirm a date as soon as I hear from the last two.

April 28th 2003
Email sent to one and all to establish a date for dinner. The results are that a mid week dinner in central London is the preferred option, with early June being the favourite. Also, a new clearer copy of the group photograph is on the website.

All eleven found. YES !!!!! Jonathan had tried to hide in Hungary, but to no avail.

May 24th 2002
I may be a little ahead of myself, but I think I may have found a possible venue. There is a ship moored on the embankment called the HQS Wellington. It is the headquarters of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners (of which my Father is a liveryman), and they have rooms that are suitable for a dinner for fifteen persons or so. If, and it depends on the outcome of the questionnaire, it is decided to keep to a small gathering, I think this might just be a possibility.

Have now had contact from seven of us, just four to go.

Dear All,
As you know by now, I am trying to organise a reunion for the "double maths class of 79", sometime in June/July of 2004. There are many questions to be answered, including who should attend, where, and when. The first task however, is to locate everyone. Once that is done, I will contact everyone and try to obtain a consensus.
All the best
John FPD
